Greetings!

Hello stampers!  I am so excited for my Open House this weekend!  I hope you are planning to stop by.  If you need directions, please let me know!  And bring a friend!  If she is new to stamping, this is the perfect opportunity for her to give it a try!

Check out the new weekly specials.  There are some really good deals to be had.  And don't forget about the retiring products.  They won't be around much longer,

Remember last week I mentioned that I really liked coloring with aqua painters?  Well, today's card was colored with aqua painters,  And I like how it turned out.  I hope you agree!

Coincidentally, Stampin' Up! released a new technique video today, Watercolor Shadows and Highlights Technique.

Blended Bloom in Yellow

Hi everyone!

I have a couple of clarifications and updates to the LNS Fall Treasure Hunt Blog Hop.  First, and most important, the rules and participating demonstrators are now in the link right under the header at the top of the page.  My apologies to those of you who tried it yesterday, I didn't have it set up quite right.

All of the clues that we are posting are products from the catalog.  I'm going to post mine again today, but this is the last time.  So, here's the clue:

Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits
Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits #135707

And here is the sample I posted using my clue:

For those of you who submit your entries by sending them to me, I will enter your name to win the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits.  This will be in addition to being eligible to the grand prize!  I will draw the winning entry for this prize on November

Ok, with that, I hope the confusion is clearing, but if not, let me know.  Remember, I want you to win!!!

Now, on to today's post.  I seriously love coloring with the Blendabilities.  Every so often I have to break them out to work their magic. That is today's card! I didn't add a greeting, because it can be used for almost any occasion.

Blendabilities - A Sneak Peak

One of the really big new product lines that will be available from Stampin' Up! with the new catalog is their line of alcohol markers, Blendabilities.  The markers are sold in a 3 pack with a light, medium, and dark shade of the same color.  This announcement gets a big HOORAY from me because I have been an alcohol marker fan for a long time.  I love them, and I know you will too!

Other features of the Stampin' Up! markers are:
  • The Stampin' Up! rectangular barrel keeps your markers from rolling away!
  • Flat storage helps to maintain the life of each marker.
  • Each marker comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine.
  • Marker tips are made of nylon, which is superior to polyester which can fray.
  • Color coded caps.
  • Stampin' Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with our cardstock, and can be used with transparent sheets.
  • Markers are designed to be used with Whisper White cardstock.
And here is my card using Blendabilities Daffodil Delight and Skin Tone Assortment marker packages!

Supply List:
Blended Bloom Stamp, avail 6/2/14
Daffodil Delight Blendabilities, avail 6/2/14
Skin Tones Blendabilities, avail 6/2/14
Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, avail 6/2/14

One other note, the Endless Birthdays set from MDS that I like so much is now available as a photopolymer set.  #137553 for $13.95.  If you have an interest in this set, order soon.  It will sell out quickly and is not in the new catalog!
