D-d-doubles!

Today I sat down to try my first PPA color challenge and I ended up with 2 variations of the same card.  That's easy to do when you use MDS to help create your card, as I did.  So, today, I have 2 hybrid cards for you!

The card on the top is for the PPA Color Challenge .... the challenge is to use Midnight Muse, Crushed Curry, and Early Espresso together.

After I made the top card, I tried another color variation on the bottom card - Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, and Soft Suede.

I really like the way both turned out, and with MDS, it's so easy to try as many color variations as you would like!

I'm Just Sayin' ... MDS

I have something a little different this evening.  It's been a really busy weekend, so for this card, I powered up the MDS.  It's been quite a while since I designed a card on MDS and now I wonder why.  It's so much fun...and so easy to play with the layout!  This card uses only elements that are included with the initial MDS installation.  Give it a try!

Hybrid card

This card is a hybrid - the flower panel is made using MDS, printed and embossed, and mounted on cardstock.  The advantage of using MDS for a layout such as this is the user has the ability to resize the flowers, as well as color and layer as needed.
