October Is...

Hi there stampers,

October is a lot of things to different people. But, today, I'm referring to October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And thanks to Stampin' Up! Million Dollar Achiever, Patty Bennett, Stampin' Up! has a great new stamp set to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. (One of the perks of selling $1,000,000 in Stampin' Up! product is the opportunity to co-design a stamp set. This is the set Patty co-designed).

With Sympathy

Hi there stampers,

My least favorite type of card to make is a sympathy card. Yet, I found myself in need of one a couple of weeks ago. A very good friend lost her mother just a few days after Mom's 100th birthday. One hundred years! Wow!

Happy Owl-oween

Hello stampers,

Stampin' Up! has really taken the "next step" this year with making the Designer Series Papers such a big part of the stamp set or suite of products. Take today's card, for example. The entire sheet of designer series paper from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper pack can be cut in to 3 x 3 inch squares to create the main panel for this card. Take a look:

In that same paper pack, another pattern coordinates with the cat punch, and another pattern coordinates with the Patterned Pumpkins thinlits. Sure makes life easier, right?

It is really feeling like fall around here. In fact it was 40 degrees here this morning when I got up! Brrr! Even though the temps are falling, the leaves are just starting to change colors. I've tried to capture that in my card today.
