Beautiful Blizzard

Hi stampers,

As the weather gets colder, we haven't had any signs of snow around here, but I know the flakes have been flying not far from here.  It just seems so early!

At any rate, I thought it was time to pull out a bundle I got in my last order, Beautiful Blizzard!  The images in this set are great, but it's the verses that really got my attention!

To create my card, I stamped the background images in Pool Party on a piece of Pool Party card stock.  Then I used the Shimmer Paints in Frost White to sponge color on the snowflake stamp.  I stamped several of those on top of the background.

The sparkle from the Shimmer Paints is very hard to photograph, but in person, the snowflakes are very sparkly and pretty.

Next, I stamped the greeting in Versa Mark and embossed it in silver on a piece of vellum.

Finally, I used the Blizzards Thinlit to create snowflakes in Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  I adhered several snowflakes to the front of the card.
