You're The Reason

A couple of days ago, I shared the Paper Pumpkin kit for February.  At that time, I mentioned the wonderful 14 piece stamp set included in the box.  As a reminder, here's a picture of that stamp set.

Two of the stamps have particularly wonderful sentiments.  Today I'm sharing a card I made with one of them.

Isn't that wonderful?  This card was a lot of fun to make and has some terrific elements.  The Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper is embossed with the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give it a real fabric-like look.  I used the new Sale-a-bration item, Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the top panel. 

The sentiment is stamped in Grapefruit Grove on Whisper White card stock.  It is punched out with the new Story Label Punch available to demonstrators now and to customers beginning March 1.

Sweet Cups

Last week I shared a photo on my Facebook page, Stamp With Melanie, of this in progress project.

I finished the design that was in my head. 

I made my Sweet Cup into a mini gift cup and gift card holder for Mother's Day.

These can be customized for many different types of events and can be made with or without the gift card holder in the back.  The 1" Circle Punch makes a great finger grip to pull out the gift card.

I didn't take a photo, but the entire back panel is covered in white card stock for adding a personal message.

This cup has a chap stick and a hand sanitizer.  I plan to put chocolates in others.
