As we approach the end of any Stampin' Up! catalog selling period, I have a ritual of going through my stamp sets to identify those that have been under-used -- or in some cases have never seen ink. There are a couple of reasons for this. First, I'm trying to decide which stamp sets I'll keep, and which I will sell. Second, but perhaps more important, I may find what I consider to be a "hidden gem" (an unused stamp set that becomes a keeper). Such is the case with the stamp set, Friendly Expressions. It sat on my shelf for a year without seeing ink!
I made these cards using that stamp set and scraps of retiring designer series papers. Very quick and easy cards, but the kind that are great to have on hand.
By the way, I mentioned yesterday that some retiring products have been reduced. One of those is the Large Letter Dies! These dies are great for cards, and perfect for scrapbooking!
