One of my favorite (so far) stamp sets in the new annual catalog is A Good Man. The stamp set features great images for those ever so challenging cards for the guys in our lives. Today's card is one I made for a recent birthday. I'm also sharing a really cool tip on a great way to use the Subtle embossing folder.
Here's my card.
I stamped the guy image in Memento Tuxedo Black on Shimmery White card stock and colored the image with Stampin' Blends. The image, sentiment, and their borders were cut out using the Stitched Rectangles dies.
Now for the cool tip on using the Subtle embossing folder....
First, add ink to one side of the embossing folder and put the card stock in the embossing folder, and run it through your machine. Then, ink up the embossing folder again, turn the paper at a 90 degree angle, and run it all through the machine again. I love the effect!
