Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone,

As I write this post, Thanksgiving is tomorrow in the United States.  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, however you celebrate.

My card is made with the Pleasant Pheasant and Buffalo Check stamp sets.  Rather than color the pheasant image, I let the color from the plaid background I created carry the card.  A sprig punched from the Joyous Noel 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper completes the pop of color.

Joy - Feathers & Frost

Hello stampers!

Yesterday I posted details of my November workshop, however the pricing was incorrect.  Please see the November workshop page on the right for the correct pricing.

One of the stamp sets that I found most interesting when the Fall and Holiday catalog was introduced is the Feathers & Frost stamp set.  In today's card, I used Feathers & Frost - and I used a modified Buffalo Check for my background.  Take a look.  It's a fun, festive holiday card!

Here is a closer look at how I modified the Buffalo Check for the background.

A ruler and a couple of Stampin' Blends are all you need to create this look yourself.  Think about it, the possibilities are endless!

Thankful - A Sampler for Fall

Hi there friends,

For a long time now, I've wanted to make a seasonal sampler.  This year the autumn products in Stampin' Up!'s product line convinced me that now is the time.  I used products from the following stamp sets to create the image panels:  Country Road, Country Home, Falling for Leaves, Many Blessings, and Buffalo Check.   The accent leaves are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.

For those of you that are local to southern Allegheny County PA and the surrounding area, I am thinking of having a workshop to make your own sampler.  Let me know if you would be interested in something like this.

Just A Note

Hi there friends!

Fall arrived here in our neck of the woods over the weekend. It's a bit of a shock to the system!  I guess that means it's time to start putting the outside "toys" away.  It also means more time inside, which in my case, means more stamping time!

Wishing You Well, a new Distinktive stamp set from Stampin' Up! is quickly becoming one of my favorites.  I think the images look so delicate when stamped.  I used another favorite, the Buffalo Check stamp to create my background. I fussy cut the bow and attached it with a Dimensional.  Here is my card for today.
