Very Vintage Gift Card Holder - The Inside

Yesterday I shared this new to me gift card holder I'm making for this spring's craft shows.  Here is another look at the outside.

Today, we're taking a closer look at the inside.  Seriously, this is the easiest gift card holder I've ever made!

This picture shows the inside with the gift card in the pocket.  The next photo shows a photo without the gift card.  And then I'll tell you how I made it.

Ok, so here's how to create this gift card holder.  It's probably harder to type it out than it is to make it!

Start with a piece of DSP or card stock 4-1/4 x 11.   Score at 3, 5-1/2, and 8 inches.

After folding along the score lines, add a length of Tear and Tape to adhere the two inside valley folds together.

Next, add the opening for the gift card.  I used the Classic Label Punch to create that opening.  It takes about 1-1/2 lengths of the Classic Label Punch to create the right sized opening.

After creating the opening, I added a length of ribbon to the outside of the gift card holder so it can be closed with a bow.  Add adhesive to the outside of the gift card holder and then place inside the card.
Finally, I added a piece of cardstock to the back panel of the gift card holder so a personal note can be added.

I added a thin velcro closure to the inside of the card to help keep it closed a little better.  I only recently saw them and I'm sold!  Look for them on Amazon.

I hope I explained this clearly  If not, feel free to reach out to me with your questions!
